Our customers pay for electricity distribution

The electricity distribution tariff includes, e.g. electricity network maintenance, control, fault repair, and a 24/7 fault reporting service. You will also have at your disposal an electricity meter and reading service, as well as one-to-one customer service on weekdays between 8.30am and 4pm.

When you pay for electricity distribution, you will pay a consumption fee (c/kWh) according to the energy you have consumed, a basic charge (€/month), and electricity taxes, which are the excise tax on electricity and the strategic stockpile fee. The electricity distribution tariff also includes value added tax.

You cannot shop around for electricity distribution as it is purchased from the network operator of the area where the property connected to the network is located. In other words, Vantaa residents buy electricity distribution from us at Vantaa Energy Electricity Networks. Electricity network operations are licensed and prescribed in the Electricity Market Act. The enforcement of the Act is supervised by the Energy Authority.
